Matt went to college at Vanguard University in southern California. Initially working as a professional musician, he soon realized he was looking for a more stable occupation and people to invest in. The mortgage industry caught his interest and through his pursuit to learn more he crossed paths with the founder of the Fellowship California branch, and the rest is history.
Fellowship, to him, offers more than just stability, it also offers community. He enjoys the competitive parts of the business just as much as he enjoys talking with and helping people.
Matt spoke about the ideal attributes of the Fellowship business approach: “We work hard to be completely transparent in our conversations. We want our clients to feel as comfortable as possible before deciding to do anything. We want to ensure that we are putting each client in the ideal financial position possible.”
No business can consider itself successful unless it meets the needs of both its clients and employees. Fellowship does both. Matt admires that aspect of Fellowship, that there is such a strong foundation for the stability of the employees.
Outside of work, Matt helped plant a church in Santa Ana, California. Much of his time and focus is spent on supporting his church in any way he can. In his spare time, he enjoys playing drums, percussion and playing live shows. He also enjoys staying active with paddle-boarding, hiking, and going to the gym.
